Cover legend: Putative pro-epileptic hilar basal dendrites of hippocampal dentate granule cells are a common feature of the epileptic brain. This is a confocal maximum projection image (60 μm) of the dentate hilus from a Gli1-CreER^T2 X GFP-reporter mouse treated with pilocarpine, which induces status epilepticus and the subsequent generation of spontaneous seizures.
