Cover legend: Depletion of ATP causes oxidative stress, resulting in the formation of actin-containing inclusions called rods in axons and dendrites. Here, rods in Purkinje cell dendrites were visualized by expressing mCherry-conjugated cofilin (an actin-binding protein; magenta).
