This image shows the dendritic arbor of a Drosophila class-IV (C-IV) da sensory neuron. The terminal branches of these dendrites are enriched in actin, and they are sensitive to mutations in the schizophrenia susceptibility gene dysbindin (dysb) and subunits of the Arp2/3 actin polymerization complex. Color code denotes section depth. For more information, see the article by Gokhale et al. (pages 12393–12411).
