This homage to Banksy shows two gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons passing through the now-infamous shredder. GnRH neurons are the final common pathway regulating fertility, and a change in their output is important for ovulation. In this issue, dynamic clamp was used to mix and match synaptic and intrinsic changes in these neurons to test whether one or both contributed to increased preovulatory output.
