About the Cover

This image displays the central nucleus of the amygdala of mice with a growth hormone (GH) receptor ablation specific to their somatostatin neurons (green). Note the lack of co-localizations between these neurons and GH-responsive cells (red nuclei). Donato Jr. et al. used this manipulation to investigate whether dysfunctional GH signaling onto somatostatin neurons drives anxiety-like behavior and fear memory. Check out their manuscript to see what they found. For more information, see the article by dos Santos et al. (pages 6816–6829). Cover image: Jose Donato Jr.
