8-OH-DPAT (0.5–1.0 mg/kg, s.c.) was administered directly after conditioning (training). The saline (8 ml/kg, s.c.) control groups were tested concurrently with the respective 8-OH-DPAT-treated groups. Tone-dependent memory tests (pre-CS and CS phases) were performed either immediately after (1 hr test) or 2 hr after (24 hr test) contextual memory tests. The values shown are means (±SEM).
