Quantification of Caspr clusters in wild-type and CD9 mutant mice

  • The normal-appearing Caspr clusters represented a pair of clusters (as indicated in Fig. 1 B,E). The fluorescent intensity of these clusters was always ≥150 using LSMS Pascal software. The number of cluster pairs in 1 FOV (48.7 × 48.7 mm2) was counted in the optic nerve and sciatic nerve sections in each mouse. At least three mice of each genotype were examined, and the mean ± SEM number of normal Caspr cluster pairs is shown. *p<0.05 and **p<0.01 (t test) compared with those in the wild-type mice.
