  • Data are averages and SEM of the rise and decay times of spontaneous NMDAR synaptic currents discussed here. The decay time, normalized to rise time for each neuron, is also tabulated as a control for the average synaptic difference from the scotoma. Power (1-β) is provided for paired comparisons to aid determination of the probability of a Type II error. Differences from control reaching statistical significance are demarcated by asterisks (**p<0.01) after the experimental condition.
