  • Ala-substituted human NgR mutants were tested for their binding to AP-Aβ(1–28) and AP-Nogo-66. There are three categories, as follows: (1) NgR mutants that lose binding to both ligands, (2) mutants that maintain binding to all NgR ligands, and (3) differential-binding mutants that bind AP-Nogo-66 but not AP-Aβ(1–28).
