Identification and expression of X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein during follicular development in goat ovary
2017, TheriogenologyCitation Excerpt :The UBA domain has a conserved hydrophobic residue sequence enabling XIAP to bind to ubiquitin [32]. There is a 44-amino acid long RZF domain at the C-terminus that is associated with protein–protein interactions and demonstrates E3 ubiquitin ligase activity [33–35]. XIAP was detected in numerous tissues in goat and the expression level in different stage follicles was also determined.
ras oncogene triggers up-regulation of cIAP2 and XIAP in intestinal epithelial cells: Epidermal growth factor receptor-dependent and -independent mechanisms of ras-induced transformation
2005, Journal of Biological ChemistryCitation Excerpt :Northern Blot Analysis—Northern blot analysis was performed on total RNA. cDNAs coding for rat IAP-1 (rat analog of cIAP2) (55) and mouse IAP-3 (mouse analog of XIAP) (56) labeled with [32P]dCTP by random priming were used as probes. Densitometric Analysis of Western and Northern Blots—Respective films were scanned, and Quantity One software (Bio-Rad) was used for densitometric analysis of the resulting digital images.
