Erratum

Erratum: Pilipenko and Samaha, “Double Dissociation of Spontaneous Alpha-Band Activity and Pupil-Linked Arousal on Additive and Multiplicative Perceptual Gain”

Journal of Neuroscience 18 September 2024, 44 (38) e1329242024; https://doi.org/10.1523/JNEUROSCI.1329-24.2024

In the article “Double Dissociation of Spontaneous Alpha-Band Activity and Pupil-Linked Arousal on Additive and Multiplicative Perceptual Gain,” by April Pilipenko and Jason Samaha, which appeared in the May 8, 2024 issue, an error was present in one of the formulas. In the Materials and Methods, GLM criterion, there is a typo in the mathematical formula as well as a mistake in the written description. The corrected formula and description appear below:

GLM criterion. C was computed by taking the negative of the sum of the intercept and alpha power coefficient and subtracting that by half the sum of the stimulus presence coefficient and the interaction coefficient.c=–(β0+β2)–1/2(β1+β3), This correction does not affect any of the results or interpretations in the paper as the error was not present in the analysis code. The authors apologize for the error and the online version has been corrected.
